Patent Date: February 29, 1896. A black coutil corset with black sateen bone casings made by
the Chicago Corset Company (Aurora, Illinois) which produced the Kabo and Ball's corset lines, both famous for having "no brass eyelets".
This particular model of corset, has a high, boned bustline and originally had button on shoulder
straps to support a large bust. It is stamped on the inside lining as being a "long waisted" model
which would have been suitable for a tall lady up to 5'9". Kabo corsets were also made in "Extra long waisted"
